Tolga Monastery

This is a place of outstanding beauty. It is just outside Yaroslavl, and as such is often missed by many tourists. It can be accessed via a short boat trip, or it can also be accessed by bus or car.

As with all Russian Orthodox holy churches, women are expected to cover their heads with a scarf (or something similar) when visiting.
